I don’t like the color combo but I still think that is a cool looking car. The new 2er is a winner in my book !!

Any guesses about the price point of the new M2? I haven’t really been following. BTW, there’s a thread on the 2 series site about how lousy the clutch/shifter feel is in the M240 and M235 (F22). So one wonders about the current and upcoming M2.

The G42 M240 I took photos of was $53k and change so I would probably add another $10-12k for the G87 M2 entry MSRP. I do not think we can compare the manual trans of the N55 M235 and the B58 M240i as I am guessing that the manual trans in the S55 M2 was totally different and probably straight out of the F80/F82 M3/M4? The G87 M2 will essentially be a G82 M4 in a slightly smaller/lighter package. The rear end maybe God awful, but at least the front of the G87 will not have the buck tooth kidneys which is more than enough reason to go with the M2.

Edit: Added a recent M2 render.

The elimination of the excessive grillage would be totally worth $10-12k extra...

Yep...looks pretty much identical to what i've seen in reviews of the i4 (talking about the screen layout).
