Will Peake tool reset brake pad light?

I'm wondering if the Peake reset tool resets the light that triggers when your brake pads are worn. I know that replacing the sensor does not reset the light. In prior posts here (or at the Fest) there has been mention of needing to go to the dealer to get the light reset. Just wondering if the is an alternative.

I will check the instrcution book tonight. It's not very comprehensive though (and I have always replaced pads before the light goes on b/c I don't trust it).
