I heard another youtube theory that the sledge hammer loosened the window, lowering it a bit, which gave it less support allowing it to break. Sounds fishy too, but more plausible than the sledge hammer invisibly cracking both windows.
lol. I have a feeling "glass-gate" is generating more free publicity for them than if it had gone without a hitch. Maybe they'll make "demo fails" a part of all future intros. Love him or hate him, Musk is a master of publicity.

I think I read that a while ago. That is so ridiculous.

What's a midsize pickup? Ranger/Tacoma? The Cybertruck, goofy as it is, is clearly aimed at the F-150, size-wise.

Is that MSRP? Or actual sale price?

Because it wouldn't surprise me if actual price after rebates was 10K below MSRP. Truck pricing is dumb.

For those who love the Cybertruck look but are put off by the size (crickets?) there might be a smaller version built at some point

The base price increase is truly stunning. In 10 years from high teens to near 30k?

I suppose that could reflect an effort to include more options as standard so as to not be so far from what everyone will inevitably want, but still.

The base work trucks were super stripped down when my truck was new. My truck was an UPGRADED trim package, and it didn’t even come with carpet, power locks, or power windows.

The base vehicles today are way higher trim levels.
