That M5 was an awesome and unique car to own ... as fun as it is to own one of these cool cars it also fun to go on, you definitely had your time to enjoy the experience and i think you took a really good step going with the M2 ....

Wishing you many years of fun with your new toy !!

Thanks again everybody. I am really loving it so far and I will post more impressions in the coming weeks. I just though after 12 long years I needed one last post about the M5. Thanks for all your thoughts and replies. =)

So I pulled out the window stickers for my three M cars(weird that I have them for the 5 and the 2 since I got them used) and it’s cool to compare them and what’s the most interesting part is is that the city and highway miles per gallon from 2003 to 2019 only went up 4 miles per gallon city and 4 miles per gallon highway. That’s pretty funny.

2003 M5
2005 M3
2019 M2

The prices are also pretty funny with the M5 still having a higher MSRP in 2003 then the 2019 M2 and the M3 and M2 within a couple hundred of each other.

Close to $78 but mine did not have the heritage or extended leather. Only silver stone sport.

I once had a BMW dealer (in the DC area) that gave shuttle rides to the subway in an Estoril blue M5 sport. Super sweet. What a car.

Wow. Now that’s a cool dealership.
