2021 Bronco

Sounds like the reveal (which had been set for April) is now confirmed for July.

I don't know what's wrong with me, but a 7 speed 2 door Bronco sounds really intriguing.

I'm not really clear why I'd want this instead of a Jeep, but it's at least interesting.

Assume the Bronco will be bigger and that's something.

I still have an unscratched (12+ yo) itch to own a 4-door Wrangler. The new ones are nice but boy do they feel small inside with the top on.

My wife is on board with it too. I'm just not willing to give up the Miata for it and it's no replacement for the LR4, so until we can justify it as a 4th car, it ain't happening. And again, we should really get a vehicle with at least a short-range all-electric range.

I'll say that after dismissing the Gladiator, considering how often I wish I had a pick up, that really would check off even more boxes.

Among other things, I think the powertrains will be more compelling, but more than anything else I like the way they look more.

My understanding, from spending way too much time in a dealership getting the wife's new Fusion, is that the manual trans is a six speed. The 7th gear is a crawl gear.

The new Bronco is at the top of the Husband's 'next car' list.

Maybe. Doubtful.

Both will have turbo four pots.

Jeep has a minivan v6. But also a superb diesel.

Hard to see Ford topping this lineup.
