There are a number of 280Zs on BaT, but whoa this one is up to $110k!

The story behind that car is really bizarre and cool. I can't fathom bringing a new car home, disassembling it and leaving it alone for 40-plus years, but that's what happened.

I am impressed by just how much the steering wheel on this 350 thousand dollar Ferrari looks like something made by Logitech.

Actually, I take that back. The Logitech one looks better.

Also, speaking of Ferraris, if you're going to sell your car on a bidding site started by a famous Internet personality, you should check to see if he's already written a lengthy screed somewhere about why no one should ever buy a car like yours, ever.

See, e.g., this Ferrari F355:

https://carsandbids.com/auctions/gKm...ri-f355-spider

...and this piece written by Doug DeMuro on why only idiots buy F355s.

I've definitely seen that car on the road and parked. It's very nice up close.

I wonder why...

"The car is available in Shaw, NW DC for a closer look. My place looks out onto the mural for the cover photo."

Oh, that might be why.

Aside, I know that people love these Boxy, But Good Volvos. I just don't understand why or what the appeal is. Does anyone know?

I liked the boxy 240 wagon--in red, especially.
