Oh it didn't ship with V9.0 installed? That's interesting.

That interior is crazy ... I never saw the inside of that model. It literally is an iPad and nothing else.

Nope. I was surprised too. But then I thought about it. Why bother doing more work before delivery? It'll fix itself.

Also, my car was likely shipped well before V9 came out. My sales guy said my car has probably been sitting there for several weeks. The delays are in having enough people to deliver the cars.

The up side is having a fugly ass end is that the trunk is decent sized. This container does not fit in the e46 trunk.

And a few more random (dark) interior / garage shots

Josh, what charging rate (MPH) do you get when you charge with the wall charger at 40 amps?

With the UMC charger at 32 amps I'm getting 19 mph. The grid table on the tesla site says 32 amps is 30 MPH maximum. I expected to be closer to that.

Interesting on your interior. I hadn't really looked closely at a black one. The alcantara door cards are kind of neat, and I like the wood strip better than the white thing in my car. Will have to post some comparison pics tomorrow.

I'll also have to check the charge rate. I don't remember. It's a lot less than what I'd get at 80 amps on the Model S, but then again it's probably a lot easier on the wiring in the house.

What voltage are you getting? If not in the 230s, you will want to get your electrician back out — the voltage shouldn’t drop that much...

When you get V9, just add the Tesla Waze site to the browser and bring that up when you are on the freeway. Just google it and you can get the link to bookmark...

Looks good Matt. I don't love the interior of these but seems like the car overall is pretty rad

I liked the white in person. I don't think those pictures do it justice.

I personally think the wood looks stupid and out of place. But from a functional point of view it's certainly less glare-ey than that white.

How are you liking the seats? They were significantly softer than the black leather. Do they provide enough support?
