Nice!

I also just noticed that the Mini comes with that. It displays the Mini logo, so not nearly as cool, but still.

Some thoughts-

1. Gross looking. Like Rubbermaid type of levers.

2. Just introduces another electric motor made of plastic that will fail and it is on the leading edge of the car —so it will see all of the corrosive elements ‘first’

3. So unnecessary

4. Reminds me of the German Engineering that went into the E60 wagon where the drain tubes for the sunroof clogged often. And would flood the ECU, which sat in a puddle of water in the trunk (clever, but functionally stupid)

5. Did I mention that it looks like something from a Honda Type R SEMA convention?

Agreed. Does the base 911 really need active aero?

The front active vents are for fuel economy. All 911s have had them since the 991.2 (they're just horizontal and look better). They close to get the car heated up faster and for slightly more slippery aerodynamics.

Lem - your T has them and SCA, your T will have them too...

I figured. When I’m cleaning off bugs from the front of the car it looks like those louvers in the front fascia of the car.

I hate unnecessary complex stuff like this.

Yep… though I did nearly spec it with the Sport Design front facia which would have omitted the active aero.
