Yup- I think the CS is probably great on a track but my guess is that the seats and suspension would get old if you wanted to use it as a daily driver

BMW is smart to offer it though as it makes for good review material for journalists

Agreed. Having had an early-lish M3, I am really happy to have an M lite. I don’t need anything more high strung, edgier, or higher maintenance. And the M lites have really come a long way, IMO. They are great daily drivers.
