Jeez. I enjoyed my ZHP but that makes zero sense to me. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.

Seriously…

I paid $11.6k for mine and it was a one owner car. Enjoyed it for five years and then mistakenly gave it to an unappreciative offspring.

As a former f10 (non-M) owner, those wheels are a turn off (and would be a source of worry).

The only thing I can say about storing an automatic 5 liter Mustang for 33 years is that at least the temptation to drive it probably wouldn't have been that strong.

Two things about that car if you are storing.

1 - Automatic really?
2 - Drilled front plate?????

They are sold like that in plenty of states, NY included. So unless you are that OCD/collector/ridiculous person (the kind who asks the dealer not to detail as they do it better or the one who is there as the truck drops off the car), the front is going to get drilled. I doubt collecting "normal" cars was a thing 33 years ago.

Then again, my 981S which was originally a NJ car does not have the holes. I guess I got lucky with that first owner.

Yeah but pretty quickly someone made the decision to mothball this car. It was a weird choice to pick an automatic hatchback with a drilled bumper as a bubble car.
