Thank you to those that have commented. The money has not been received even though the bidder has purchased his airfare. I informed him that I cannot release the vehicle until the funds have been received and verified via my financial institution.

We are definitely seeing a correction in the pre-owned market. New vehicle sales are still very strong. If the R1T had arrived a month sooner I would have profited $35-45k. Sadly that is not happening.

a friend is sadly replacing his (very used) E39 M5 with a Model Y shortly. his trade in cratered from $9k to $3k. he'll do fine private party, but that's quite a movement.
