In the meantime, I saw a thread on either rennlist or planet-9 that indicated that my car is no longer high-40's (I even thought mid-40's) but easily low to mid-50's... Awesome. While I can't buy a 911 at current prices, I'm holding to this gem of a well-specced boxster. To think that I would have easily sold it if someone offered high-40's, thank dog I didn't put it on the market.

A new, custom-ordered GTS 4.0 is not looking so insane.
Of course at any of the prices mentioned in the previous posts including a new GTS 4.0, buying a P-car seems insane. Maybe I am just cheap, but an ND Miata is not not so crazy any more. |

The GTS 4.0 looks just about perfect. And the idea of being able to spec it just as you want is pretty compelling. For my part, I’ve been coming the conclusion over time that I’m just not really a roadster person. The GT convertible is much more my comfort zone. I don’t really like a car that sits super low. |

That's what bothers me most. In the past there was always the "there is always the next gen" thought. Not anymore. If I could know there would be one more "traditional" gen of Boxsters, I'd just shut up and wait. |

All things considered, this looks pretty good.

I think I'm getting a GT4 or a GTS.
I've read enough. And the closer we get to electrification, the more spooked I am about the future of manuals at Porsche. I'm hoping to drive them back to back tomorrow. and then kind of figure out which one has better resale (because it's me) and then how different is the GT4 suspension setup from the GTS setup.
