This could go VERY high. That car is too nice to drive.

Not BaT but the Lane Auto Museum is selling off some inventory. There’s some weird shit in here. The Tatra 613 is legitimately tempting.

The white R8 vert on BAT went for $166k. The red one on PCar site went for $122k. I didn't follow the comments closely, but I can't imagine the white one being a $40k better spec. Suggests about a 10% premium for BAT

This and the Ferrari F40 were pretty much the only cars I thought about in the mid-late 80's.

I remember that from then.... A real brute....

Now, this is something kinda unique.... lol
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...e-street-rail/

Looks VERY well executed. Almost too nice to go thrashing around in the desert. Would make an interesting alternative to the Atom. LOL

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Will be interesting to see where this one ends up...

I remember back in the mid 80's, we (my brothers and I) talked of going in on a first gen Bronco. But didn't... I only say this here as the one we looked at was this same color... and seeing this one brings me flashbacks... lol

Comparted to https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1974-ford-bronco-69/
Makes me think I should have paid more attention to the cars I was looking at back in that period. $110k for this one... WOW

I bought the 2002 in 1983. But was seriously considering a 1968 911 that was for sale also (the 2002 and 911 were for sale for the same 1983 $$)

Looking at the way both have increased to crazy values.... (albeit for the top cars) - I 'should' have bought the 911 and/or the Bronco. Then again - lol - The 2002 was perfect for me and the Bronco would have been a shared car and probably end up being trashed by the late 80's and sold for a song.

LOL -
Ah, the memories...
