Anyway, the TL/DR is “there was a bubble and now interest rates make that bubble harder to sustain,” but since we’re still seeing demand outstrip supply on new cars I’d want to see some hard data (more than just autotrader searches) before I conclude the sky is falling.

Yup I watched that too and agree there’s not much insight there. The part about dieselgate meaning that Porsche corporate pressured dealers into not discounting really makes no sense; that’s just not how that works. I also think the car market in the UK might’ve slowed down more than in the US. As evidenced here, it’s still not easy to buy a Porsche sports car

This. Look at lemming's comment re: a 718 4.0. You'd think by now those cars would be easy to get at MSRP.

Well… this would explain why multiple colors are becoming NLA in mid March. This also appears to be the new Sport Design front bumper cover since it has no active aero.

Why would that affect color offerings?

What’s your opinion on their review? I think they do a nice job in general. Fair. Technical. Funny.

I won’t have time to check it out until later, but thanks for the heads up.

To Dan’s question: it wouldn’t, necessarily, but it’s not a huge surprise that they would refresh color options when doing a facelift.
