I saw a GT3 RS on the GWB today. I'm sure it's an awesome car, but boy does it look tacky and attention-whorish when juxtaposed against a bunch of normal traffic.

This morning I saw one of the very few R63 AMGs brought over here, followed by a 458 Italia.

Since neither has a clutch pedal, they aren't really "notable," though.

Still, very cool cars. The R63 is super rare indeed, but we've talked about that car before.

Can you get a Panamera with a manual gearbox? I've been passing a white one on my way to work most mornings. I know it's not the majority opinion, but I think it is really, really sharp. I'd love to replace the m5 with one in a couple of years if it could be had with a real gearbox.

I like it except for the back and the price. I'm taking at face value the amazing concensus that the car cheats the laws of physics and the weight does not get in the way of the dynamics.

No manual on the Panamera yet, at least in the US (I think the 6 is available with a manual in the ROW). I'd expect an eventual (overpriced) GTS version to have a stick, as they did with the Cayenne, and we might see a manual in the V6 eventually, too, though the take rate on that would presumably be minuscule.

The Panamera is uglier than a bagful of anthrax IMHO, but I'd consider a used one in a few years if a stick were available. Without a stick, it's just another boring slushbox sedan, of which the world has many.

I saw one in white the other day -- very good color on that car.

As for looks, the Panamera has grown on me. The more I see them, the more I like them...

Technically, PDK != slushbox, but I personally prefer manual as well.
