I saw a video last fall or early this year where someone tested a RWD 3 with and without the aero covers on the same ~30 mile back-forth (~15 each way) on the same evening in Orange County CA. I thought he called the improvement was around 8-10% with the aero covers on. I could see the larger wheels reducing range by a couple percent more, so 15% reduction is probably on the outer side of reality. But... Unless someone drives the same car on the same route at about the same time with the same weather conditions on each set of wheels, I won't fully trust the estimates.

But what I can trust is hard data. I posted a screenshot of the "lifetime" mileage on my Model S from the TeslaFi logs. Below is my Model 3 Lifetime (albeit only a couple days…). What's interesting is that over ~40k miles, the Model S was 317 Wh/Mile (which is just under 3 miles per kWh).

I've now logged 234 miles on the 3, and its showing 246 Wh/Mile --- just barely over 4 miles per kWh. The 4 mile/kWh metric is widely reported over at TMC, so this is in line. But most cars have the 18" Aero wheels, and I have the 19's. Perhaps the Dual Motor is offsetting the impact of the wheels?

I installed the console wrap this afternoon. I went with a black brushed steel wrap — which looks really good. Aim is to hide fingerprints — the console is a glossy piano black, and even after just a few days was pretty gross looking with fingerprints and some dust.

We also noticed another defect. The passenger front seatbelt warning does not come on. Driver and rear seats do come on. I’m guessing the sensor in the seatbelt latch isn’t working since the pass airbag light doesn’t come on when someone is in the seat...

I bought the one from Abstract Ocean. He designed the original silicone pockets for the Model S key fob, and was an early Model S owner. He’s built a nice business with Tesla accessories. His version also comes with a small piece to cover the cell phone holder bar under the top most panel - nice touch.

I meant to post a pic. Here’s one with 2 of the 3 panels installed (so you can see the contrast)...

Piano black sucks.

Well I just discovered that the 19" wheels seem to NOT fit on the PUP vehicles. At least the 19" wheel and tire package recently added a blurb that stating that they do not fit.

That fucking sucks. Oh well.

I thought you mentioned that previously?

Have you looked at aftermarket options. Here’s the link to t-sportline — looks like they have include the PUP in their selector...

No, I knew that the 18's wont fit over the brakes. But I assumed the 19's would fit (and I could have sworn that some folks said they test fit them).

But the Tesla site recently added a blurb to the 19" winter wheel and tire package page saying the 19's also don't fit with the PUP. This is likely due to the PUP's narrower brake rotors which create a strange lip at the hub.

I have seen the TST 19" wheels and don't like them. And they're heavy.
