Still loving the ZHP ...
I know, it's boring being satisfied, but here I am parked next to an E30 M3:
DSC_0059 by shrp11, on Flickr Here's a side view among a group of cars: DSC_0025 by shrp11, on Flickr I still love how it looks, drives, its excellent mix of practicality and sport. It's good on gas, great seats, driving position - brakes are great, shifter is precise, love the steering.' My only complaint is a degree (for a car in this price range) of body shake that seems a bit much at times. This is more than forgiven when the top is dropped. The car turned six in March, I'll have had it six years in December. I'm still under 40k (about 37.5K miles last I looked). |

Your car looks great.
And that guy with the red "M three" should be shot in the face. |

Why would you not be happy with it? It's a great car, you don't put too many miles on it and your life sitation is pretty stable.
Glad you still like it. |

Was at the BMW dealer in Hartford the other day and saw an orange 1M with a a plate that said "ONE M". What's the point of a plate like that one or this one?

"one M" is actually marginally better, since it has a sort of double meaning (it is a 1M, and it is one M), but not much.
At least this guy didn't go with M Drei, which is both uncreative and pretentious. |

My favorite one was at a track day. White E30 M3 with the tag REALM3. The guy mentioned he was going to change as people kept asking him what Realm 3 meant. I told him that the answer was, "if you don't understand, you wouldn't understand. " Only problem was, if I had kept my mouth shut, he would have changed, then I could have gotten REALM3 I keep thinking of a tag for the LTW - YES.

REALM3 is slightly less lame than "ONE M" or "M THREE". But still really, really lame.
A guy who is a friend of mine got the plate POR SHA a few years ago. I bit my tongue. |
