I'm assuming it's RWD only.

This is like the peak of "fuck no" for me. Everything I've read about these trucks suggests that the wiring and suspension are very complicated and difficult to service, while also being unreliable. And putting an ULTRA RELIABLE (ha ha) BMW drivetrain in one?

It makes a 928 look like a rational choice. But I bet when it runs it's pretty crazy.

That Range Rover looks like a southern-rural-florida-drug-runners special. It wouldn't surprise me if the fender cavities were filled with bags of cocaine (maybe that's why he has a 'ton of people who are interested'?).

This thing has "run away" written all over it.

Ha- yeah. If you were a journalist, I bet you could get lots of great stories out of that one, but otherwise it has trouble written all over it. Even the way the ad says "CLEAN TITLE" in call caps makes it seem anything but clean

"As mentioned before, it had no battery; fresh battery with 3 year warranty is available for extra $120."

Also only $1000 without the wheels.

And, really, this would require you to have a garage (as well as the other long list of reasons to avoid)

Although, if you had storage space, something like this might be a fun and bonding project with your son

I guess out of all of those, I'd pick either the Targa or the 325. But, really, I think any of those would get annoying in the driveway and not be as fun to drive as your Boxster. I'd probably wait for some 911 Ts to hit the resale market and replace the Boxster. Then you could keep that running through the pay-for-college years.

All three are pretty cool. I'd go G wagon for the seat upholstery alone. I personally like the Japanese 1991 325is more than that whte 1990, but I don't have a bad argument for any of them.

Nick will have spare parts and infinite expertise for you if you get the E30

That Mercedes is kind of cool. But when would you drive it?
