try grasping the bolt with a vise grip and pulling while you turn.

Not sure what you could use to attach it, other than some industrial strength adhesive. Or perhaps melting the end of the rod with a torch and quickly "sticking" it onto the screw head. Maybe extreme measures, but it's another option. |

The best info I could find browsing Fresh Alloy and the Nico forums this morning was some guys prefer to remove the back two (of four) bolts then bend the plate forward for oil changes.
This on the Infiniti cars, too. No mention of spinning bolts though..... |
