Ok, I am seriously considering this S4 as a replacement for the X5. The timing chain stuff is terrifying, but supposedly less common on the B7 S4 compared to the earlier ones.

I'm a bit troubled by having a 10+ year old Audi as my family's primary mode of transportation.

Good looking and powerful, but they just don't drive that well. And also that v8 mpg/range...
