It would be one thing if they selected this date because it winds up being the cheapest for them (cuz, you know, who would have a wedding in Boston then?) and they don't care about the extra expense and hassle their guests get stuck with. It's something else if the date/location has some special significance to them and/or they selected them without having any idea of the other events...and by the time they learned of them, it was too late to really change it without fucking up a lot of other stuff.
