I'm about an hour from the PTS car. However, with my big moto trip coming up, I will not be available until April.

But this car is $145k. And I don’t know if it will have the subjective goodies that the 25th anniversary car would have?

Not sure what you mean by subjective goodies. The Spyder is a Porsche motorsport car with the GT4 suspension (991.2 GT3 front suspension and brakes+ GT3RS dampers), LWB seats, etc. The 25th anniversary is a "standard" boxster GTS with a very red interior and some nice wheels.

This video details some of the differences (I'm not saying its a great video, but it does highlight why the spyder is a more sharp edged car.)

Based on your comments re the turbo vs gt3 as well as your desire for a blue PTS car i thought the spyder would be more in line with your goals.

If that's not the case, I get it, but the price of this one vs the 25th car seems to favor the spyder.

1. The car is in Jersey. It’s not worth my hassle. That’s already a deal dealbreaker

2. I think I prefer the 25th package because it’s a limited run of cars. It’s true that it’s just a Boxster, though, without the Motorsport suspension pieces.

I mean, it’s a GTS, mechanically, which isn’t as special as the Spyder but is still special.

I suspect all manual GTS cars will be perceived as special in a few years but the Boxster 25 will be especially so.

I didn't mean that to sound like the GTS isn't an awesome and special car. Just that given the list of requirements that Lemming has shared in the past, especially regarding his desire for a bespoke Porsche Motorsport car the Spyder is 'more special'

Its like the 911 50th anniversary vs a GT3T. The 50th cars hold their value much better than a standard 911 gts, but the GT3T cars are on a different level.

This news is driving up the prices across the board for 992s because no one really wants the hybrids.
