Hey Alan, I don't know if you still think you have a home charging issue. I have talked a few times to a guy who owns two Tesla's here in Anderson SC (trying to buy a Tesla in SC needs its own thread )

He had issue with a home connection too, but He runs a German owned plastics firm and installed a charging station in his company parking lot.

Is this do able at your office?

Google even has a picture of his Model S parked poorly in front of his building

LOL. I guess you can park like an a-hole if you own the place.

Yeah, I never asked him, but I bet he took the pictures.

I see his wife in the S most of the time lately. He now has an X

It is definitely doable at my office I just don’t think I’m there yet as far as going electric but I am getting closer, thanks for the good idea.

The novelty of the acceleration wears off pretty fast.

The usefulness of it in traffic never gets old though

So I hear. Although I don't have enough seat time in traffic to have that haunt me yet...

I really need to drive a model 3 (or, you know, not). Having driven multiple Model S's, I'm a "nah" on that.

I'm told that the 3 is much more playful with vastly improved chassis tuning. I think a RWD version with the "track mode" stability control programming would be pretty perfecto.

... aside from the cost.

I seem to be the only one who has driven a model 3 and was not that excited about it.

I really kind of hate the interior, but that kind of thing I typically get used to (I hated the interior in the Mazdaspeed as well, but 204,000 miles later it doesn't bother me ). Oddly the exterior styling of the 3 has grown on me.

At this point I think the only reason I don't own one is cost. I love having no car payments and a big deposit into the investment account every week.

Just trick yourself that you'll earn it all back in gas...
