Ha! Thanks AF, that's very nice of you. Yes, it's my driveway. It's not that big. It just curves down the hill to the side of the house where the garage (currently filled with stuff other than cars, much to my chagrin) is. Long story short: had basement water problem, problem fixed, damage remediated, but basement not yet re-sheetrocked and floored or carpeted, hence, basement crap in garage and cars in rain.

The driveway is in the process of falling apart, I need to get it redone this year, or maybe next year if I really push my laziness. Honestly, that's the story with a lot of things in this house right now!

Do you have a 21" spare?

Ha ha.

The diameter is similar enough that my BMW Escape rig does the trick.

They all look the same to me, is that a new GTI or an R? Did you finally find a dealer willing to cooperate? Congrats

It's an R. The GTI would have made sense from a variety of standpoints (could get sunroof, all season tires, and a spare), but rationality is boring.

That's hot.

Is it the new 306hp 2018? Does it have the new 9 inch infotainment center?

Those are some of the best VW rims I've seen.

Many congrats!
