I love my car. It does everything well and is very sharp. With the discount I got, I thought I paid a fair price for what I got. If only roads around here weren't so horrendous, I wouldn't complain about anything. It is the ultimate commuter car. It is a good choice when you can't afford dedicated cars for different activities because it is so well rounded.

JST,
I think you hit it on the head! The 330i did everything I wanted for a nice cruiser with plenty of pep and excitement when I needed it. However, I went with a Perf. Package precisely because of the reasons you mentioned. As a side note, I only have 650 miles on my car in 2.5 weeks, and the only complaint I have is throttle response too. My 98 323is felt significantly more quick to respond to my throttle input, but in no way did it give me the rush that the 330 does now. To lemming, I agree with you 100%. The Perf. Pkg. filled every desire I wanted in a 3 series w/o having to pony up $50K + for the M3 and I still get cloth and Imola |

sorry, i thought JimC. software could port right over to the PP ECU, too. if that's the major complaint, it's so worth the money, if/when it's available. it even makes an xiT feel peppy....when it's cold and the gas tank is empty.

I always thought the 330 was a great car for what it was, and they improved them in the years following the 2001 that I had. I just think the e36 is a much better car for what I want out of a car. |
