Considering bailing on Perf Center Delivery

I got word today that PCD would likely add as much as 4 weeks to US delivery. That's a mid-August to mid-September delay.

That's a whole month of not having my new car and yet another multi-hundred mile road trip. I suspect my wife will be somewhat fatigued about so much driving this year. We will also be a bit thin on vacation days.

Thoughts?

If you can bring a guest to the PCD I would say do it!

(hint: I live about 25 miles away from the PCD)

I did PCD once and it was fun, but don't think it's worth inconveniencing yourself for (especially not an added 4 weeks). ED, however, is totally worth it!

Officialy bailed on it.

What makes it annoying is that it burns 4 weeks of warranty and an extra payment since the car had to be paid fire before the trip and the warranty gets punched in at the Welt.

Good move I think the thrill alone of going to Germany for ED is more then enough for anyone ... psyched and happy for you I love the M3 in that color plus it’s such a bad ass car !!
