2016 Golf R test drive--no dice
I think the s3 is one of my favorite sedans right now. Perfect size. Strange because I don't think the regular a3 is very good looking. Somehow the little touches they add in S form really make the car.
Congrats ayn. Your car looks amazing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Congrats on the new S3 ... It is a really awesome car actually one of my favorite high performance sedans. Since you are mentioning the need for Quattro are you going to get some snow wheels and tires. If I recall the S3 comes with summer tires.

Ya, might just put all season tires on them, depends if I have the space to store extra set of wheels and tires.

My A6 had all seasons, and I used to describe it as "the tires were magnets, and under the snow I was driving on metal roads" Didn't matter if it was a dusting, or 6" of unplowed snow, it handled great.
My S4 had performance tires, but I never drove it in snow. Going over Stevens Pass in winter was done in the Edge, S4 stayed in the warm garage.

Wow, that's awesome. My last choices from Hertz were a Camry or a Jeep Patriot. I chose the Patriot. I can't say it was worse than the Camry, but it wasn't better.

Congrats on the S3! I really like this car and have been meaning to visit the local dealer for a test drive. I have built one on Audi's website a few times and it appears reasonably priced.
I read somewhere recently that for the 2017 MY it will receive a facelift and a minor horsepower increase (10-15). Judging from the photos I could not tell much of a difference from a '16. |
