But I agree with you all, a black dash cap and black steering wheel would make these interior colors work better.
That one is really pretty. I wanted Espresso/Cognac when I was searching, but they were very few and far between (and usually PDK).

Yeah that is a beautiful interior. The problem w/ most 911 interiors is the lack of a contrasting steering wheel and dashboard imo.

There was an issue with the beige dashboards reflecting on the windshield, not quite sure how Porsche resolved it with current owners but I do know they were aware of it.

Sounds like they offered money for owners to buy sunglasses lol

It's not beige, but I don't have any issues with a non-dark dash....

This is part of why my ex and I got a great deal on her Boxster, I’m sure. It has the all-beige interior. (We had to sign a release absolving Porsche of any liability for the issue.) I think it looks great with the Guard’s Red, but I guess people complained. Now, perhaps it’s a collector’s item!

Frankly I think black dashes have more reflection issues.

I think that combo is very sharp.

The kind of person who specs a GT3 Touring in silver over black is exactly the kind of person who drives their GT3 Touring less then 5000 miles in 3 years.

Yeah I guess with GT3 values having been so strong there's a temptation to try and own one on the cheap by trying to time the market/ pick an easy to sell spec. I can't fault anyone who wants to sell anything at this point --especially a Porsche. Values are ridiculously strong. Personally, I wouldn't have the stomach to play that game... if I were planning on buying a new GT3, I'd have to be comfortable keeping it long term. I wouldn't want to buy it with the plan that i'd somehow flip it and come out even in a few years.

Yes, that really narrows it down to someone tremendously wealthy.
