I've been raging about that since the beginning.

I always hope they will introduce something remotely appealing, but they keep moving farther and farther away from what I want.

I’m curious to how you feel about the 992 interior … it’s a big change from the 991/718’s interior which are more old school.

I’m not loving the 992 interior but I guess Porsche felt the need to update it to keep up with the times.

Fair point, @Alan. It’s mostly non-traditional and a big break from the past. Maybe the future is better.

When is the M2 being released again?

I saw the data from the 2023 Lightning Lap and wonder if the results for the M240 and the M4 CSL are GREAT or slightly underwhelming. The GT4RS really put everything else to shame —even surpassing the dynamic benchmark of the 992 GT3 at VIR.

HEAs, the demos began production December 8th, 2022. They should be arriving at US dealers over the course of the next few weeks. Many are at the VPCs right now. The official launch is in mid April.

Edit: I am still waiting for a modifiable allocation.

2023 Honda Civic Si. Simplify your life and get back to the basics when we were in our 20s and mustangs made 225hp. Trust me if you cant enjoy 350-400hp in a 4000lb car you will love the Si manual at 2850lb and 200hp. all for $29k

I am uncertain about the rest of the population here, but with me pushing 52 years of age I feel that I have aged out of a lot of vehicles that I would have owned in my late 20s, early 30s. There is a youthful stigma associated with certain models that are simply no longer a match for this old, grumpy ass mudgeon.

Porsche's implementation looks more visually appealing than BMW's to my eye, but I still prefer regular old analog gauges.

I suspect I would really enjoy one of these as a daily driver. It would be a massive upgrade to the quarter-million-mile Mazdaspeed that I do drive most of the time.

Unfortunately I haven't found anyone that will do a straight trade with me

Yeah, I do not love the 992 interior.
