I agree 100%. I do not get it… I had a E46 M3 convertible at my disposal for three years and it never made me want to run out and purchase one of my own. It was a SMG which I always thought was God awful. My brother had a manual 2005 M3 Comp that he ordered and picked up at The Performance Center. We got to drive one of their manuals on the track there and I still did not want one.

The manual ZHP sedan I had was a much more enjoyable car.

I’ve said this before but my 05 M3 ZCP was the worst driving of the M cars I have owned. I still think it looked the best, esp with the comp wheels but that is it. I didn’t mind the driveline harshness but I agree with JST, the suspension was a mess.

Even my E36 convertible handled better.

The engine was neat but the rest of the driveline was kind of a mess, with lots of driveline lash that made it sort of ill-tempered around town--and the suspension never felt quite right, either.

The 330 was a better car, even if it was slower.
You're not wrong.

Which wallet-draining 928 (sorry, that's redundant) would you pick?

Interesting. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...LAx5digScLy-Lg

Well, except the current owner didn't seem to service it too often

This is an interesting color combo....

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2003-bmw-m5-135/

I could love it - or it could be too much of a cherry tinted burgundy color (for me).
I predict it will bring a pretty penny regardless.

That's a great color combo in person, agree it will bring a lot of money.

Never a huge fan of Chiaretto but with the full Carmel interior, the low miles and the rarity of that paint man IDK maybe in the 60’s?
