Yeah, I derp-brained on Excursion, everyone who pointed that out is obviously correct.
I have friends with various EcoBoost F-150s (2.7s and 3.5s new and old) that have put well over 100k towing with no major problems. I personally find Ford's trucks to be inferior to some of the other offerings but they sell like crazy . |

I saw an Excursion the other day. Didn't look as massive as I remember -- which shows you just how much bigger vehicles in the truck-based SUV market have become...

I am continually blown away but how large the 1/2 ton truck class is nowadays. Their size is made worse by how poorly a lot of their drivers seem to be about properly parking or even maneuvering these things.

Did they come with a 180 degrees of steering play from the factory, or did you have to drive them a few thousand miles to get that?
