I receved the proof sheets from my last track day in the mail yesterday.
There's about 10 shots, all very good.

I'll get 2 or 3 prints made but unfortunately the photographer won't sell digital images, even though he shoots full digital. I guess this is like the film guys not selling a negative.

He did say many people are asking for the digital image so he may change the policy at some later date.

I can scan them once I get them, does this violate and copyright law?

Probably. You could always get the photographer's permission to post them on your website.
