Is the second one in case the first one breaks down?

I saw that posted elsewhere with no sourcing provided.

As it reads, it's a little less than I expected. A pretty loaded copy will still break $65K. But I had expected a loaded copy to be closer to $68-70K.

I do expect pricing on a loaded copy to touch $70k. BMW pricing structure now points right there with the new M3.

It's just another way to add weight.

Like TD, I saw this posted elsewhere without attribution. It seems plausible, but then again it would have taken me 15 minutes to bang out an equally plausible list of prices, so who knows?

I'm more interested in availability, and even more interested in any word on an E90 M3, but maybe that is too much to hope for.

I too am wondering about the E90 M3. can BMW justify as many different bodystyles as the E36 M3 with $65k-$70k stickers?

Wow, I am surprised by you guys. I figured you'd all think that price would be so low that you'd dismiss this info right away.

I am amazed that the base price is sub 60K. Sure, there are plenty of fancy options that will bring the price through the stratosphere, but the "normal" options have vanilla 3er pricing. A nice copy can be had for 60K. Not to say that is cheap, but mush less than what I was expecting.

I realistcally have little chance of owning one (and at that, I'm only mildly interested in the sedan), but given the RS4, I expected it to be more.

For 60K out the door, I rather pick up a very nice 987S in Germany.

310#ft of torque. i'm sure it will be executed better than it looks on paper. but at that figure, my temptation to be in the line to get one is sort of dying.

Is this pricing from BMWNA?

(nevermind I didn't have a chance to read Lemming's post)

Ah, leftlanenews did a cut and paste as the rear sunshade is there twice as well.
