I'd give it a little time to see if you get used to it otherwise can't you just switch it back ? Is it expensive ?

That's what we're going to do. If it were my car, no question, I'd switch back. It's hers, we'll see how a few commutes go.

Not expensive, probably $50? This time was free to reflash but I had to pay a one time $150 to APR to register the tune in my name. Just the time and hassle of going to a shop, waiting a bit. Saturday 8 to 10am is a pretty choice time of the week to be going back to the same shop.

Is the shop close to your house ? How long does it take for them to do it ?
