White with a tan interior is definitely not something that appeals to me, but the blue top kind of makes sense. A black top I think would clash with the tan interior.

Huh. I don't think I've ever seen anything like that, but I believe you!

Per my former spouse whom is a buyer for a major department store, black goes with everything.

I've seen that plenty of times as well. Seems like a Florida spec.

I think it's almost kind of similar to our new cabinetry. It's gray. Wait, is there green in it? Yeah, well, wait, maybe? Yes. I don't know.

While I'm not quite sure about my cabinets, Aventurine is definitely on the green spectrum. I have nothing bad to say about the color, but it doesn't do much for me. It's very nice in sunlight, but it's still in the world of drab and un-exciting and just doesn't provoke a response in me. I actually kind of wish it did.

I mean, I strongly disagree with that sentiment. But

Back on topic, walking back to work from grabbing lunch at the deli, I saw a 718 in a blue I hadn't seen before. Based on a quick internet search I think it's Sapphire Blue. In person it was gorgeous. If this were an option (i.e. a no cost option) it might sway me over yellow.

Sapphire blue is really, really nice--it's a color you see on Macans a lot, and is basically the successor to Cobalt and Aqua on the 987.1 and 987.2, respectively.

I would get it in a second if I could. I'd pay $3K extra for it, too, as a "special color." I can't pay 11K for it as PTS, though, because that's dumb.

Yeah, it's not even $3k good to me but it's good.
