Peake Code Reader/Reset Tool in the protective case with the manual and code chart. They are about $140 new.
I don't have an e36 anymore. It's neat to have around b/c I have a lot of friends that have e36s, but . . . make me an offer. |

I can't speak for Doug, but mine read codes all the back to 1988 for all BMWs and 1987 for the 3 series.
