BMW Individual coming to USA

At least, according to this article:

http://www.fastcompany.com/magazine/...ml?partner=rss

Quote:
The Individual program, now offered across BMW's full model range in Europe and Asia, is coming to the States, too. Exactly when will depend on negotiations with U.S. dealers. "In Europe and Asia, people are prepared to wait four to six weeks for the personalized car they want," explains Löcker, M's regional sales manager for Europe, "but in the U.S., customers expect to drive it from the showroom straightaway."
Too bad they didn't offer this to us earlier, when the cars were all handsome.

Which is all the more reason why they really need it now more than ever.

So what if the shape of the car is ugly and the dashboard sucks egg, the car is Barney purple, the leather is lime green and I got dubs on it

Can I order an E60 M5 with an E39 bodyshell and interior?

I'd prefer an E60 M5 with an E46 M3 unibody and interior. But with iDrive integrated.

And a 4.45.
And real brakes.
And real suspension.

Missile launchers would be nice, too.

I'll believe it when I see it. There's been rumors for a few years now that it might come ot the US.
