Although the X5 is in the shop and it’s pouring today, so she took my car to work. I will be picking up the teenangster in the Porsche this evening. |

I felt like a d-bag for the first few months after getting the latest Boxster (four years ago!)
I got over it. |

I hear you on this! I had a few cars before I bought my 2002, and many more since owning it. It still holds a large place in my head and heart.

We would not have chosen red, but it was the one on super deal. Wife wanted Lava Orange, which is, frankly, no less garish. |

Here's a car I don't want to want.
https://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/...732596729.html It's a really good thing it's a four door and a bland color. |

FWIW, there are a lot of cars that I miss. The E90 M3 isn't really one of them. |

I know I don't want it (or that it makes no sense to own one) but I'm always tempted when I see non-Nav, non-iDrive cars.
Ultimately I'm actually really enjoying driving the beater Mazdaspeed every day the weather is bad, with occasional use of the Boxster and truck as the mood strikes me. |

That is a very decent fleet. And from what I read, the DC area has had just awful weather since we moved away in November 2015.

Eh. this year has been not great, inasmuch as we've had a lot of rainy days. Other than that, this summer seemed noticeably less hot than it was in prior years... but that's anecdotal.
