Grand total of about 3.5 feet to spare between the tool box and the garage doors if you subtract the cars themselves. I wasn't sure, so as shown the 718 is about 4 inches from the toolbox with about 20" between cars.

Due to where I park our lawn tractor, my wife has less room than that for her Fusion. (about 10 inches) For me, one of those tennis balls on a string was good piece of mind that she (or I ) won't crunch anything in the garage

I have a question that I think I know the answer to, but if you guys collectively and overwhelmingly tell me otherwise, I would like to know.

As we were taking delivery of the car, I noticed a 3-5 tiny stone chip type of imperfections behind the right headlamp on the top of the hood all around 0.5mm or smaller. You cannot see them at all from 3-4 feet away even if you tried. She would have happily left without even noticing. It looked white in the small cavities, so it was clear the paint is gone. It was really frustrating, but the car was paid for already, so the guy apologized and promised to get me touch up paint ASAP.

I did my best to fix it, but the color and metallic nature of the paint seems to have left the sport with a darker shade of the light blue.

My wife says it looks much better but is still sad that her brand new car has an imperfection. Mind you, this car is not meant to be a garage queen, but we want to last and this is something we'll both know is there forever.

I've done the best I can. I am not willing to get too aggressive on a brand new car.

As far as I see it, there are three options:

1) Live with it. This the plan. I told my wife she could have easily gotten chips like that in the 50-mile round trip highway drive she did the other day.
2) Bitch and force dealer to have the chips re-repaired by a pro. Not sure how well this would ultimately look.
3) Bitch and get panel repaired. This is overkill, IMO, and I rather have the factory paint with a very minor blemish than respray the whole hood.

I want to have the front end wrapped so I want to make a decision soon. Thoughts? I'll post photos soon.
