There is a catch to that Alan, the self-healing is for minor scratching. So YMMV. One can also take some hot water and pour it across the top of the scratches for faster results than letting it sit in the sun.

Edit: Xpel used to sell a cleaner and polish for their films.

Likely an RFID loop to open a gate.

For our neighborhood, the HOA allows us to register our toll tags to open the gate -- I keep a clicker in the car for backup, but the toll tag works well...

Exactly! That is what I was thinking, but my brain would not type it.

I have those products already. I bought them when I ppf’d the F80. It worked great at removing water spots.

Thanks for the hot water tip.

Makes a lot of sense. I figured it was a sensor of some sort. I thought it may be an inventory tracker. Thanks!

You are welcome. FYI, you want it as hot as you can get it out of your faucet. Some say near boiling works too. I was always afraid to get it that hot. I have got my tankless water heater set to 130°. I thought that was good enough.

Well, I finished my project of adding a 45 to the garage landing. With that project we now have an extra ~18” to fit longer cars. I needed that for the M5. As a result, it spent the day outside and probably saw snow for the first time in its life.

Sweet. Well, this is a daily. Not a pristine garage queen. That’s for the Boxster.
