I like the Ferrari one better. Also, considering what Porsche and the majority of Porsche owners have become lately, that kid could very well grow up to be a poseur when he buys a Tiptronic C4S with every option and a hole in the roof.

BS, he doesn't have to wait 20 years, he can get that one used in ~15 or so.
I'm with TD, that really does hit home. Of course, since I came here in '93 it hit me when I first saw the 993 in late 1995, when I was 15. I got my license on 9/11/95 (first available date after I turned 16.5 - 9/6/95), and I always thought it was karma and that owning a 1995 911 was inevitable. Coincidentally, lately I've been lusting more and more over a CPO 997S over a 987S. |

I never had a thing for Porsches. When I was that kids age, I loved Jaguars, especially the classics. I still want one.
