Mine is OK.

I think it's more like Porsche IMS bearings. You just pretend it won't happen to you. And sometimes you get lucky.

I think m3's were much more likely to break them, stickier tires, higher torque, stiffer suspension compared to sedan e46's. Mine was fine at 42k miles sale.

Anecdotally, the convertibles were supposed to be better about this. But, if that is really true. Maybe they are just less likely to be driven hard.

Interesting, but I bet with all the little nicks and scrapes, this thing is "nice from far, far from nice"

Yup. After I got it detailed like six weeks ago for sale I started dragging my feet again about selling it. It’s running so good right now. Still have not put out an ad.

My local BMW dealer is having a CCA event this Saturday through. I am polishing the car up today and going over 2 hours before they open tomorrow to get a good spot to display it. Will see if anything happens.

On another note I finally drove a non comp 2018 M2 last weekend. A black 6-speed.

First bmw that will get me out of my car and so much better then the tank like E90.

Lets see..
Moving from gravel to paved road.... check.
Oversize shop to store car..... check.
Pay copious amounts of cash for remodel of house..... check.

Oh yeah... that 'cash thing'.
Maybe by this time next year I will be ready.

Hopefully Ted is REALLY slow in getting it 'sold'. LOL
