I also do appreciate the offer and may take you up on it if I don’t get a chance to try DHP.
United BMW here has a few M550i examples with DHP, but possibly not all the other options you seek. Their website is not super granular on all the options, so you will likely need to run the VIN through a decoder. Wait, are you looking for AWD?

They are all AWD at least since it became an "M550i" back in 2018, so that is not an issue.

I am going to Atlanta in September and October, so maybe I'll see what's available there at that time.

I've heard the same about bmw V8's. Nothing official but generally harder to maintain over the long run compared to the I6's.

I'm not sure what technologies go into optioned up 5er's these days, but from my own optioned up DHP f10 535i, I would stay away from active roll bars as there is high-pressure hydraulics connecting and disconnecting that bar to provide both the magic carpet ride and decent cornering. My indie specifically pointed to those as a risk at 60k miles and beyond.

None of these matter if you're not planning on long term ownership.

I do wish BMW had offered the Cognac color in Nappa. It would have the same interior as that Lambo - and I think it works.

It's got the right wheels and the hard to find DHP as well. I just don't know that I can live with an Ivory interior.

I like different, and that color certainly is and stands out. I am wondering how easy it would be on resale.

For enthusiast cars, as I understand it, special colors generally sell for more and faster.

I could live with Ivory for that color with DHP.
