Dealership License Plate Frames

One of the things that I'll never allow on my car is a dealership license plate frame or decal. Well, unless they pay me for the advertising space, but that's another matter

Saw this one this morning and though it was weird. Never have I ever seen a frame that identifies the salesman who sold the car.

Also, this dealership is in Clarksville, Indiana. So you moved from Indiana to Texas, changed the plates and still used that weird "Sold by Shawn Baxley" license plate frame?

That being said, the marketing worked since I have now heard of Shawn Baxley of Neil Huffman Honda.

Interesting. Kind of like Realtor yard signs. Bet the salesman pays for them.

Back in the day some american dealerships used to have metal emblems that were affixed to the back of the car.

They're ugly and dumb, I'm swapping mine out as soon as I get home, USPS just delivered my black license plate frames.

I don't even wait that long. I pull it off and hand it back to the salesperson.
