Let me know when you figure it out.

Wot? WTFBBQ?! Congrats! Yay!

You have the strangest ways of announcing your purchases (ships, snow tires, other sold cars).

Very nice...Cobalt right? Nicely optioned as well, what a steal. The 280hp sounds really good right behind the ears. If I didn't have a 987S, I'd almost be jealous. (Allright I'll be jealous of your 'vert, cobalt, auto climate control and factory xenons)

The aux in is kinda hard. I've given up.

Steering wheel is really a non-issue, it's so good as it is, nice'n retro. I'm a bit tired of the overly fat/fake bmw wheels.

Now, clear sidemarkers, ASAP!

FWIW, at one point in the process I considered getting a 911 instead to replace the Mini; financially it would be about the same, and I figured maybe I could drive it every day and get the kid in the back seat. We went to the dealer with the booster seat, and while I could get it in, my daughter was NOT HAPPY with the complete lack of space--her face was less than a foot from the back of the front seat.

So, my conclusion is that the 911 isn't really an option, at least for a 3 year old in a booster seat. Which is fine, because the Boxster is more fun to drive anyway, and the top goes down.

That was my conclusion as well.

That's too bad about the 911. I'll make sure my wife doesn't see your post...

Anyway, I totally forgot this car was the start of this thread. I nearly sent you a link to it about a week ago.

More driving impressions to follow, when I can average more than 7 mph.

As for the sport steering wheel, it is probably possible to upgrade, though I imagine it would be spendy. I drove a couple of cars with that wheel, and while I prefer it, I don't think it's worth the coin to do the trade.

Cool beans on the vert, bet you'll be looking forward to an early spring
