I saw that and was smiling. I had a similar setup for electric trains in my basement growing up. My mom wasn’t happy about how much room it took up but I spent HOURS down there playing and building my fake town. The entire board sat on two massive saw bourses. The board is long gone but to this day I still have all the trains packed away in boxes I sometimes pull out and go through.

Check out their website portfolio, too: http://slotmods.com/portfolio/ No offense, Theo, but I kinda doubt your setup was "similar." What they do is make real what our childhood train and slot car sets were in our heads.

Lol. No offense taken. I guess I should have said in theory and in my 9-12yo memory of it.

OK, I have no real interest in buying this, but it's fascinating because I never realized that they built the 164 with AWD--and what sounds like an early version of a Haldex unit?

This one checks all my boxes...
Too bad I have too many cars already.... plus this one is on the other side of the country... lol. And, I bet it will go for a very pretty penny. I am not a fan of the wheels, but that is an easy fix. Under 20,000 miles... wow....
