Good point on the manual on the new S4 ... kinda sucks, I watched an interview with an Audi exec and it seems they are going away from the manuals ... it is frustrating that they are doing this and while I enjoy automatics I always enjoy a manual.

Meanwhile BMW is getting soft as well ... I spent the day with the 340 today and while I love it I don't know if you would. I have a feeling you are not going to like the light steering.

I personally don't mind it and as the day went on and I got used to it I found the car is very fun for a Sports sedan. While the steering is light the turn in response is very quick, the car feels pretty tossable and the engine ... OMG it is pretty amazing.

With that said one test drive in it might not sell you ... it's the kind of thing where you need to live with it and get used to the changes from your M3 and E39.

TD, in all seriousness, see if you can get this car for less than 30 and call it done.

Dude, if I hadn't just bought a car...although I suspect this will sell for pretty big bucks.

(I do agree though, cars seem to be getting stripped of soul).

Just to stay somewhat on thread, I concur that if you found a good swapalease on an F80 that would be your best bet.

Good suggestion ... Swap a lease has some really good deals ... my brother just entered into a really great deal on a certain BMW and hopefully it will work out ... hint it has an 'i' and the number '8' and gull wing doors ...
