Wheel valve stems

I'm looking at some potential new wheels, but they come without valve stems. Should I just get them from an auto parts store? Does anyone here know a place where I can get good wheel valve stems?

Any pep boys will have them ... in fact they actually have a selection of them beleive it or not ... some people like the black ones, others like the chrome ones.
