The 911SC Safari and Hammond Roadster closed today and provieds an opportunity for a little update

Actual
Car 1 911 Safari $170,911
Clyde $150,000 = 13.023%
Josh PA $125,000 = 31.030%
JST $188,000 = 9.522%
Nate $175,000 = 2.364%
Car 2 Hammond Roadster $12,500 (Reserve Not Met)

Clyde $12,000 = 4.081%
Josh PA $32,500 = 88.889%
JST $9,000 = 32.558%
Nate $24,000 = 63.013%
Remaining cars and their current bids (as of 6:30pm Thursday):

Car 3 Buick Wagon $8302 closes Friday 2:30pm ET
Car 4 911 S4 c;loses Friday $17200 4:00pm ET
Car 5 1963 Corvette Friday $118,000 6:00pm ET

I realized that there's something I didn't quite define in the rules. How are we determining the overall difference? Are we comparing the sum of hammer prices to the sum of predicted prices? Or are we averaging the percentage difference?

I think the former gives a lot of influence to the high dollar cars, but is that too much or is it acceptable?

Does reserve not met throw a monkey wrench into the system?

Maybe I shouldn't ask questions as I didn't participate. I hope to in the future, RL too crazy the past few days

I would think averaging the percentage difference is the most fair.

Kinda surprising to see how close some of us were on a few and so far away on others.
