So quick update on this only for the sole reason that BMW ended up not providing an on air update. If it wasn't for me following a thread on bimmerpost I would have no way of knowing this update was available and only at the dealer. You would think BMWUSA would notify the owners especially after they not only notified me originally through my idrive in my car but they also notified me on the BMW app and I received a letter in the mail.
All of a sudden the update disappeared from my car and the app a couple of weeks ago. So basically owners who don't follow the internet will not know the update is available and only at the dealer. With that said I got the update a few days ago and wow big difference off the line and also big difference in the gear shift from 1st to 2nd, no doubt the car is quicker now. |
